In our curriculum, it asks us to "identify, on the basis of exploration, a variety of personal opportunities in your community in cultural or other fields related to visual arts." Therefore, I am assigning a research task for you. Using your iPads, research what is happening in arts in your community.
In your research, let me know what you find that:
- involves visual arts
- involves other cultural pursuits (dramatic presentations, live music, language arts, etc.)
We will reconvene as a group to discuss your findings!

- be sure to spend some time at http://www.virtualmuseum.ca/home/. There is some great opportunities to see virtually visit museums across the country!
