Function of Art: Art has many functions in society.  It may be used in times of war, in satire, in religious messages, in personal narratives, and many other ways. 

What are some of the ways in which political regimes use propaganda art? How might opponents of a regime use this type of art?” 

1) Identify the function of the art in the posters above.

2) Identify at least two elements of design/principles of art in the poster and explain how it was used.

3) Explain your personal interpretation of the poster. What can you infer from what you see?
